U Ye Myat Soe

U Ye Myat Soe brings decades of senior leadership experience not just in banking but in diverse industries such as telecommunications and energy. He joined A bank as Managing Director in 2015. Prior to joining the bank, he was Chief Executive Officer of a national telecom company for more than two years.

Under his visionary leadership and tenure as chief executive, A bank grew within a short span of time and helped building the stable foundation for growth. He has built a solid foundation for growth, leading the company as it embarked on milestone partnerships with Asian regional banks; expanded  clientele domestically among large companies, international development institutions and wide range of small to medium enterprises; and embraced innovative banking technologies.

U Ye Myat Soe holds a degree in Geology from the University of Arts and Sciences, DAC from Yangon University, and an MBA from Yangon University of Economics.  Earlier in his career, U Ye Myat Soe served as technical advisor and geophysicist for various oil and gas companies.
